Do you ever feel stuck or beset by delays, blocks or obstacles in your life? Do you need help to increase the positivity, good luck, and abundance flowing into your life?
Our thoughts and frame of mind are mirrored in the signs the Universe sends to us in our day-to-day life. ‘Going with the flow’ may sound too easy but by releasing control we are signalling to the Universe that we are ready for our dreams to be manifested in any way it deems possible.
I know sounds easier said than done right?
I was that person, obsessed with my goals, my to do lists and what I had to do next to achieve my dreams. I was also a prisoner to the standards dictated by society, that you should have achieved specific goals by a certain point in your life or have achieved everything before you get too old. Tapping into the Law of Attraction made me realise that the most important thing is not the pressures, goals or necessities we or society place on us, but our vibration and actively being happy, to enjoy life and to find joy in every moment.
Everything happens for a reason and sometimes we forget that life is about living in the present moment and enjoying each small moment of bliss.
So how do I go with the flow?
Have fun
Life is short, surprising and remarkably uncomplicated when you focus on having fun. Fun? Are you serious – I hear you scoff? Yes, fun! I don’t mean being irresponsible or immature and refusing to do anything that’s not fun. The fun I’m focusing on is what you make of it. Fun can be simple, for example, start small and do one thing each day that inspires you and lights you up. Even taking ten minutes to dance around the kitchen, read a book or listen to a podcast can be fun.
Changing your mindset can make even the most mundane tasks fun, for example, when I am procrastinating over something I find tiresome, I make it into a fun game, by ticking off one or two steps and then rewarding myself with a reward, even if its just sitting for ten minutes in the garden or taking time out to play or cuddle with my dogs.
Let go of control
Letting go of control is something that is so easy to say but much more difficult to implement. Usually you will hear this phrase flung around in self help books or spiritual boosting enterprises but letting go of control goes so much deeper. Not only does it encourage you to relax and stop worrying, it can therapeutically transform your life!
Being honest, letting go of control is the one thing I’ve always struggled with in order to manifest my desires. I’m an organiser and perfectionist by nature, so I still struggle with this depending on what kind of day I’m having BUT when I have let go of control, and relaxed. and not tried to push or force things to happen, that’s when I’ve noticed the magic happen; and things I would only have ever dreamed about have materialised into my life. For example, when I tried to force a certain career path, I noticed that more and more obstacles, blocks and delays were being placed in my way, whereas, when I changed career paths to something that I loved instead of something I felt had a good status or I was expected to do, everything flowed and amazing lucky breaks, surprises, support and resources showed up as and when I needed it.
Try it and see! It really does work!
Stop overanalysing and relax
We all overanalyse, its a fact of life, and a huge trait of being human. To stop worrying about a situation or to stop trying to force or push something to happen, sometimes its about finding your therapy or energy healing ‘go to’ that will help you diffuse any concerns and breathe a little more easily.
Therapeutically there are lots of incredible exercises and techniques that can alleviate any worries you may be having that is causing you to mull over or to overanalyse a situation.
Deep breathing exercises
Deep breathing exercises where you focus on your breath, allows you to move your focus, onto powerful, positive coping mechanisms. Practicing deep breathing exercises daily can teach your body and mind to automatically relax when you use them.
Start by simply focusing on breathing deeply in and out and focusing on the feeling in your body. Clear your mind of any thoughts and refocus on breathing deeply, in and out, if you find yourself returning to your worrying cycle. The more you breathe deeply and simply focus your thoughts on your breath, the calmer and more peaceful your mind and body will become.
Writing in a Journal
Free Writing in a Journal allows you to collect, sort and work through your feelings and thoughts and can be a highly effective way to stop overanalysing specific situations. Free Writing means you can write unfiltered and this allows your subconscious thoughts and emotions to come to the forefront unencumbered, without you censoring or overanalysing why you are having these thoughts or feelings. The most important thing to remember is not to judge yourself. All thoughts and feelings are justified.

Positive Affirmations
Positive Affirmations can increase your vibration and can be a simple energy healing mantra to use daily. For best results either create your own positive affirmations (depending on your situation) or collect a small assortment of positive affirmations on Pinterest or Instagram.
I use post it notes to write my own affirmations for what I need at a specific time and I stick them at my office desk and read them daily when I find I need a positive boost.
Meditation
Meditation takes practice but it will transform your life. I promise! By practicing meditation daily, you will become more grounded, peaceful and in tune with your thoughts and feelings. It also allows you to quieten your mind and to gain new perspectives on different situations in your life by visualising the situation or visualising you healing yourself or even receiving your desires and how that makes you feel.

Have a Reset Day
Sometimes, when everything seems to be going wrong or I feel stuck or slightly off, I just organise a ‘Reset’ hour/morning/afternoon/day. This is where you completely switch off from life, from all technology and you simply relax and indulge in something that makes you feel positive. It can be something as simple as a pyjama day, baking bread, going for walk, or relaxing in nature, getting energized in a gym class or whatever inspires you.

Align yourself with the Universe and increase your vibration
Aligning yourself with the Universe will naturally increase your vibration. Positivity is the key. Developing a positive attitude and learning to see the silver lining in all situations will change how you view the world.
Becoming aware that everything happens for a reason and that the Universe always wants the best for you will also increase your alignment. Sometimes when we are going through a difficult period, it feels as if we are being ‘punished’ but what I have learnt in my life is that the situations, problems and/or issues that nearly break us, actually make us stronger, and give us the opportunity to grow and become better people. Life is mysterious and sometimes what we think we want is not necessarily what we need.
Kindness, generosity and paying it forward is another way to increase your vibration exponentially. The Universe attracts like with like so every time you do something kind and thoughtful for someone else, the Universe will respond by sending you similar acts of generosity, kindness and thoughtfulness in your life.
Have faith that the Universe is always working in you favour. Try this game to show you that the Universe is working for you, not against you:

Always remember ‘going with the flow’ takes daily practice and can fluctuate depending on your mood, your vibration, and what is happening in your life. Treat each day as a new day to go with flow and as Neville Goddard reiterated, “It is not what you want that you attract…you attract what you believe to be true.” Have faith that the Universe is working behind the scenes and bringing all your desires, miracles and manifestations to life.
